Probably the cheapest coin in Pogue's collection is worth more than my entire collection ever will be. :(

But those gold PCGS labels look pretty awesome I have to admit.

How do you build a $200 million coin collection?

    Start with $400 million.

Gotta love it. I'd kill to own that 1797 half. And of course the 1822 $5

It was an investment collection. Unfortunately for us common folks, only the really high end seems to work for this kind of turnover.

He probably has more in the plastic than he has in the coins.

Guessing it wasn't cheap to grade them all but I think the fraction of a sale of one of them will cover it. ;) Who knows, PCGS mightve gave him a deal just to get them in their slabs for the advertising.

If he could afford to purchase those coins then I'm sure his grading fees didn't dent his wallet!

It is likely that the cheapest coin is more than the last auto I bought. And many of them are probably more expensive than my house.:cigar:

A very awesome and beautiful collection. I wonder who gets the money?

I believe the family was selling them. The younger Pogue said it was time for other collectors to have a shot at owning the coins.
