Arcadius, Emperor on Horseback

    I picked up this AE3 tonight. I've been looking for this type, which is generally rough. I'm glad I waited it out - this example has full legends, mint mark, and great style in the prancing horse and emperor leaning backward in a grandstanding kind of way...

    It comes in Honorius also. I like my horse's head better but you win the rest of the categories. Both are Cyzicus. Is yours also shop B?

    it's an great little coin! i just got done telling my wife i was done buying coins online until the new year, but i had to sneak in a little bid on that one even on the wagon. glad it went to a good home!

    Hey, sorry about that Chris! Great detail on that facing bust, though - usually the faces on those types are pretty smushed.
