I'm still learning about Morgan die varieties, and would appreciate your opinion on the VAM that applies to my newest raw acquisition: I'm leaning toward a VAM-7 - what do you think? http://www.vamworld.com/1896-P+VAM-7 The dings in the field also make grading this tough. I'm leaning toward a high EF rather than an AU grade... 45 perhaps? How would you grade it? Date looks near, can't tell much of anything else, although Molly from Dallas can bring me a beer anytime.
The 22oz Gold Diggers (the Golden Ale she brought me) were $2.50 for happy hour too. Not a bad place to have a work meeting. What would you peg the Morgan's grade at?
Well, you've established that you clearly have better meeting rooms than I have. I'd guess the coin would grade AU53.
XF 45, but with the caveat that those scratches on the obverse might make it upgradable--if it were submitted, it might be a details coin.
