I wouldn't even know how to talk to this person. Big coin collection on craigslist and whoever has it.....shouldn't. Check it out
I don't see much value. I see a lot of modern stuff, clad proof sets and mint sets, maybe a silver eagle or two, probably some Franklin Mint stuff, souvenir "penny boards," probably some re-processed steel cents. Pass.
Thats a trick craigslisters do to get you to look....look at his description... "Email me offers please."
i sent them and email. I said, If you are for real then you are going about this all wrong. there was a link to the ad because i used craigslist reply. They responded What's?
What's the problem here? They put $1 to get lookers, and they got them. They are asking for offers, not giving the coins away.
The problem/reason I shared was not because I was impressed. I posted it because I'm baffled at what they said in their description. They obviously didn't have anything to do with building this collection. Just seemed crazy to me.
"I has.... coin...they have recipies", looks like a kid wrote this up and one that did not graduate from 6th grade.
I don't know why you are baffled by the seller's comments. We have people making unintelligible remarks here all the time. Chris
Oh, you assume that my shock is linked only to their terrible English skills? While that is pretty funny to me, the worst part is that they have no idea how much they are worth. Some how this collection just fell(maybe stolen) into their lap. While I spend lots of time studying and learning the ins and outs of every coin I have, they know literally nothing, it looks like, about the coins they have. This kind of thing drives me crazy.
So I guess every single person that comes on this website to ask about the value of an inherited collection really stole them? Hmm
I am the fourth generation to inherit our family collection. If anybody turns me in for being a thief, please split the reward money with me. I just bought a house and could use some extra pocket money.
