Hey everyone, I am looking for your opinions on this morgan as it has me slightly dupped. Unless it is a weak strike I am seeing some wear points on the hair but the bag marks appear to be minimal? Im thinking a ms61 or two because of the wear not the nicks? What do you guys think?
Without the reverse, I'm somewhere between AU and MS63. The reverse is critical - actually, playing each face off the other is critical - to determining if a Morgan is circulated or not.
Any photos that show the luster better in more natural lighting? Hard to tell with the photos but I would say AU-58, you can see wear very clearly on the leaves in her headdress. I'm guessing that the TPGs might say MS-63 though. Looks very nice
Looks like something done digitally, maybe done by accident with paint brush when cropping the image? I also see it in the star in front of liberty's nose. When I open microsoft paint it is set to paint brush by default and sometimes I forget and accidentally draw on the photos I just hope it is not done by the seller to cover up a problem on the coin itself, if so I would contact the seller. I notice it is the same color of the background which is harder to accidentally do though.
Ok Thanks guys. Im going to buy it and give it a shot Seller Advertised it as a choice BU with a 14 day return policy so I would assume I wouldn't have any issues if it arrives as an AU
Thats a right arrow to go to the next pic in the ebay app...OP must have taken screen shot rather than downloading the pic. Funny thing is I clicked on it to go to the next pic...ummm...ebay on my mobile device too much? I say MS63...I think if anything..what is on the leaves is weak strike.
