image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I just found this Lincoln cent in a roll and it really caught me by surprise! It looks like multiple heads backwards on the obverse and even a Lincoln head on the reverse. Can anyone tell me if its worth anything and what kind of error? Thanks

Coins clamped together in a vise. Sorry.

It is what is called a "squeeze job" Where two cents are squeezed together and the face of one is impressed ( reversed) into the other. Usually using a vise. At yard sales, you often see them.Damage

If you find one where Lincoln is raised with no mirror lettering you might have something .

Thank you rzage. Is there any common errors that I might be able to find easily to help me gain more confidence in hunting? Iv searched the web for different know errors and $400 in Lincoln cents and I have been feeling really discouraged. Iv found a few die chipped ones for my collection but that's about it.

There are doubled dies , but they can be confused with common machine Doubling .

another common error to look for on cents are clashes, i find a lot from the 80's, mostly on the reverse side, but any date could have it...http://www.maddieclashes.com/

    few examples
1982 upside down "Y" from "LIBERTY" between 2nd an 3rd column

    a 1983

    1999 obverse clash

    2011 shield obverse

all found roll searching, and i just found a 2015 obverse clash few days ago, once you know what to look for you'll spot them, check out the denominational overlays on the link above.... happy hunting
