Found at a garage sale

1945d half, 61d quarter, 60d dime, 61dnickel, 61D cent.

 

They all look heavily polished to me. The penny and nickel? Face value. The silver coins? Melt value.

They're sealed in a plexiglass thing

The whole set is worth about 20 bucks. The quarter and the dime looks ok to me, the half and the penny are heavily polished, sorry.

 

Best money you're going to get for that is if you don't break it up.

 

Does that bank still exist?
It may have some nostalgia value in Detroit.

Nice find for a yard sale. Wish I could find these kinds of things at yard sales. Of course it depends on how much they want. Usually yard sales you can haggle a bit

 

The quarter and dime look pretty nice. Can one remove it from that acrylic stuff without damaging the coins?

Nice I like it , even if the half is polished . It makes a nice desk piece , I'd say around $20-30 .
