Thank you! I was in a definite state of disbelief when I saw it. It's my first doubled die I've found while CRHing.

G condition 1911 cent. Not really photo worthy. But still neat.

Went to the bank today to get some fresh coins. One of the tellers had saved a 1960-P quarter for me and another teller saved this for me:

The roll was all Eisenhauers, but I needed two of them for my collecton and the 1960-P filled a slot in my quarters book! Good day!! :)

Just cracked open a box of dimes and they are all 2015 P.....anything worth looking for? I got my first box of nickels. I'm pretty excited about that. Just gotta find out what all to search for.

Aw man I hate that. I've gotten 2 boxes of 2015-P dimes this year. What a waste of time.

Having said that, whenever I find myself with a box of uncircs, I usually cherry pick a roll, grabbing 5 or 10 perfect coins, and I also set two unopened rolls aside. Probably a waste of space and money, but you never know if this year is going to be another 2009, where all coins were low mintage. <shrugs>

Hate to create competition, but current year's uncirculated rolls sell for a premium on eBay, esp when they're first released.

Searched my first box of nickels last night. I found 4 buffalo nickels but not one single war nickel! The Buffalo nickels aren't special either. 2 had dates rubbed off completely.

4 Buffalos!!! That's amazing. Best I've ever seen on this thread... Date or dateless they still are hard to find (Or maybe it's just me that can't find them).

It seems like here in southern California when I ask for a box of pennies I get new 2015 everutime. So now I ask for 5-10 dollars worth and they are a good mix last week I got 39s 53 d and 3 full rolls already sorted with 79d and 1980 full rolls...

My best for buffaloes is 32, and 23 were readable, got 16 last week in a bag and 9 were readable, I find them fairly often, they are just always dateless or 1936.

I found a whole bunch of 1970 S nickels in this box. 10 or so. Do y'all see a lot of those too?

They're pretty common around here. Near Boston.

I will only keep a 70-S if it's minty with luster and mostly full steps.

Wow that's crazy. You're really hooked in with those coin machine bags. It's not that easy out here in the real world.

If you ever feel like helping me fill a couple slots in my buffalo book, let me know! ;-)

The only noteworthy buffalo I found was a 1913 type 2 that was in XF-AU condition, the rest are run of the mill but have over a roll of readable dates this year.

You've seen my two best, 1914 & 1918. My last 5 are stacked up here next to me, let's see...

    1. Dateless
    2. What could be a 1929; hole drilled halfway through the buffalo
    3. 1936-D - good coin, but not my best '36-D
    4. Dateless
    5. 1929 - readable date, very worn, but not otherwise damaged.

I keep these buffs handy, because I like to encourage myself when I'm looking through a poor box. You never know what the next roll might bring you! :)

Maybe I had one of those dateless unreadables. I put them back in circulation
