Along with the world coins we inherited we also got 19 1922 (2 S) Peace dollars, 8 1923 and 4 1924. Their grading looks anywhere from good to AU with one 1923 that could be better, see pic(?)
We aren't really interested in collecting them. If I list them for sale/trade on CoinTalk would anyone be interested or are the dates too common-or should I just bring them into a dealer (when silver goes up in price)?

I'd gladly pay more than a dealer would - but you know they will lowball you anyhow. Hold them for a while. The price will only go up at this point.

    Cheers!

The strike on this coin is amazing for a series known for weak strikes not to mention the toning.

Just added this Peace dollar. Waiting for the past owner to remove it from their registry set. There is something about an MS66 Peace dollar. I have some MS66 Morgans but they just don't match up to this.

Peace Dollars are one of my favorite series. It is easy to assemble an entire set since the series was quite short. From 1921 to 1935.

I'm half way there to completing this set. I hope to put a dent in it in 2016!

pumpkinpie does have a nice Peace dollar: and they are beautiful---but fragile. The Reverse looks particularly good, but the scratches in the nose and the field in that area are a little disturbing. Had trouble reading PEACE on the Rev and almost took the 1923 as 1928 (which would have made the coin counterfeit). Shiny coins do pose photographic problems. The photos we're seeing obviously were lighted from two o'clock and nine o'clock. More diffused light would have been better and need not be too bright.
