Lorraine: teston 1723

    Does anyone know something more about coins from Lorraine? I have this testone from 1723, used as ex-jewelry. But in World Coins 1701-1800 (Cuhaj) this type exists only from 1709-1716. I didn't found it in acsearch database either. Is the date overstruck from 1713 to 1723? What's your opinion about this?

    I found it.
    This site says 1697-1729

    Here's what the website says,
    "Lorraine. Leopold 1697-1729. Teston 1712"
