What is wrong with this Lincoln cent?

    This lincoln cent looks like it has die chips on the obverse but the over all appearance of the cent looks grainy especially on the reverse. Any one know why? Or what went on that made it like this? It's in amazing condition though! Thanks

    Is that common Iv never seen it before and it's pretty neat

    Yes, that's very common on pennies minted since 1982.

    I've never found one, but they are pretty common based on posts I've seen out here
