I went to my bank the other day to look through there money, and the gave me some pretty bad news. An auditer came in for some reason, and know all the money I had them hold for me is back in circ! Silver certs, star notes, pre 95 notes, everything. The really bad part about it is I was going to purchase most of it, lol. But now, I gotta start over I guess searching. The funny part is all of them are floating around somewhere in Altoona. Need to keep my eyes peeled lol. Okay, now I stopped crying lol, thought I would tell yall.

too bad all of those notes are in circulation! why did the autitor make them put it back in. if those silver certificates goes to the fed, its screwed. any old style will get shredded too. think, there might have been a star note low serial silver certificate in there! web notes, and everything!:D

Although unfortunate, we have to remember that an auditor views a star note silver certificate the same as a 2003 series dollar. A note worth $1. He/she doesn't want them taking up space until you come in to pick them up. Tell the cashiers to call you whenever the auditor shows up, even unannounced.

    Lol, Wise guy. :D

Lol, You can be wise guy number two then, lol. :D

Lol, I bet a lot of people probably will, lol.

I know! I don't understand it, but that is the way the cookie crumbles, lol. I know, hope they make it into someones hands. The real sad part, there was. I think a 1953 (I think, not sure) $2 star, with what I remember 4 zeros! My heart is really broken now, lol.

Yes, I am facing that, lol. Now I am facing it as a bit humorous, a lesson for next time. But I still shed a tear every once and awhile, lol. I did, and they have my number for whenever it happens again.

Tel me about it, lol. Maybe they might come back to me, lol.

Tell me about it, lol. :D

Ouch! That hurts. But that's cool that the bank is willing to hold stuff for you.

Make friends with the teller. I've got a teller at my local branch that holds anything out of the ordinary for me, and I go visit her every Thursday or Friday. She's even got my business card in her drawer to call me if something comes up that can't wait until the end of the week. Last week I got $20 in American quarters for $20 CDN. Not a bad little return on the investment. Got myself one of the D mint state quarters I needed. I hope to get the rest this July when I go to LA.
