    I remember when the wall came down. My buddy went then and brought me back two broken pieces. I wish I still had them.

    Interesting - I can see a few of those coins causing controversy here in the states. Some nice designs in the selections. Thanks for sharing the page.

    Looks more like a depiction of Vancouver Harbor.........

    The selection of the winners is done while 2015 is still in full swing ;) and I guess the publishing house wants to have some kind of equal basis, so it picks coin issued in the latest "full year", thus 2014. The award "ceremony" is in February, thus 2016 ...

    By the way, the Austrian €20 collector coin is not about the Berlin Wall (only). As the text on the piece says, it commemorates the end of the Iron Curtain.
