2015 Liberty was unavailable then 1 was left. Will it be a good coin???

Ok I dragged my feet and didn't get one of the 2015 HR Liberty coins and I was checking them out on Ebay and then to my surprise this morning they were available again I put one in my cart and could check out. Are these a keeper?

Then I got greedy and tried to buy 2. Nope quanity was unavailabe. I reduced it to 1 and could check out again so I bought it. Could it be a PL, or will it be garbage someone returned? At any rate I got one for cost. Has anyone ever had one of the last of a series before? Let me know the quality you got.

I got two when they first were released. Sent in to NGC for grading.
Came back MS 69 , NOT PL.

 

If you bought it on Ebay unless you specifically paid for a proof like coin you're likely not going to get one. Most moderns like this sold on Ebay, especially by dealers have been picked over for the best to submit to TPG's. They then sell off the rest that won't make the grade they're looking for.

I do believe the mint resells returns they deem acceptable and lots of these got returned from posts I read on forums. Here's hoping you do get a PL though, as even MS70's in PCGS plastic seem to be selling under 2k.

 

It has been interesting to watch the sharp decline in asking prices for these on EBay. I suspect some flippers with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads have been left with bad headaches.
