Heres a little history about that coin. It is part of the 'Discovering Nature Series' that ran from 1995-2000, of which 6 sets containing 4 diffferent coins were minted. 4 in a bird series, 4 in a baby animal series, 4 in a dog series, 4 in a whale series, 4 in a cat series, and 4 a birds of prey series. The animals depicted are indigenious to Canada.
Accordining to page 218 in the 2009 Charlton Catelogue, this is actually a Great Horned Owl, with a set mintage of 123,000. it does have an individual coin price listed at 15 bucks Canadian for a PR67, and 30 for as PR66.
Regardless, heres some links below that will help explain it all, and a link of a guy that is selling just that coin, or the complete series. BTW, his price for the complete series is exactly the same as the original release price back in 2000.
