Anyone ever heard of Jeffscoins? I've heard they have some good "mystery lots" but the Ranch Hoard thing is just totally made up. Also, how are coins from the early 1800s and 1964 in the same place?

Yes, jeffscoins makes a killing off those misleading lots. Bought from them one time, ($135 Lot) received twenty dateless buffs, one standard oz of silver coins, a roll of wheat pennies and an VG large cent advertised as XF. They didn't provide a photo of the coin, but I, unfortunately, trusted them.

However, when I contacted them regarding my disappointment, they gladly sent another oz (this time troy) of silver for me.

I don't know who you're "hearing" all these good things from, but you may want to tell this, ahem, other fellow to stop dreaming, especially since you already "know" better, remember?

Trust me... I understand the desire to get something for a fraction of its worth, but the sooner you get it out of your head that there's any chance that such things are real, or that you could come out on top, the better off you'll be.
