I like Halloween. It takes me back to a pleasant time in my life. We turned out the lights about an hour or so ago. A total of 670 kids came by the house. Not a record, but close. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'll try to put this in terms that are PC. I live just south of Tampa. There are a lot of large farms growing tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries etc, etc. So we have a huge migrant population. On Halloween they bus the kids of these migrants to subdivisions like the one where I live. Regardless of how one feels about the immigration policies of this country, the kids are just kids. Most speak only a little English, but much better than their parents. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other on this night. A couple of years ago we had a high water mark of 810 kids. I made sure I had enough to hand out in case we exceeded that mark.

I dress up and everyone of these kids have no problem identifying my costume. I can't figure out why.

We ran out of candy this year but had a lot of fun. The kids got a kick out of our costumes. My wife was little red riding hood, I was the woodsman, and the dog was the "Big Bad Wolf" posing as grandma

cute! our dog max has a ruptured disc in his back and can't use his hind legs anymore...we hope that he gets some of his leg use back. we pulled his bed up to the door and he still helped pass out candy.
