Sneaking Up on Me - Balto Whitman Show

Baltimore Whitman show in less that 2 weeks.
I'll go Friday as usual; belly up to the door for the 10AM opening.

No contact from MFD so it looks like he hasn't found the FE or two IHC's I want.
So I'll stop by and say hello.

Then I'll scoot over to Chris McCawley's table and see if he has the ½¢ I need for my type set.
Or maybe a wreath cent.

After that I'll wander the floor looking for the coins I need for my SL "Arrows at Date" I need.
Five to go BUT I may own one or two of them before the show; I've got some bids in at Heritage.
Not surprisingly two of the ones I need are the most expensive ones.

I won't be able to make it but have someone doing some looking for me. I hope they have a little luck this time around. Enjoy the show.

I too have some bids out on Heritage but rarely win. Seems like the things I am after always have bidders willing to exceed the going auction prices by a bid or two.

 

That I can understand.
There was a third coin I bid on but someone has already left me in the dust.

 

I'll be there Saturday, I work Friday. Although I do work in the city so I'll probably try to slide over there for a little while

 

Don't know if I'm going yet.... there's a show this weekend in Timonium Md. That I'm working on Sunday
Nov. 1 . About 20 dealers from the Delmarva area. A couple from Pa. Too.

 

I'm going to try to go to that one.
