Do any of these coins appear to be double die? How noticeable is a Doble die? 20151025_135354-768x1365.jpg 20151025_135354-768x1365.jpg

If you have a 1955 DDO, you'll know it. :)

So it's not a double die if the date has more girth then the other coins?

Certainly not the "big one", but I'm not making myself go cross-eyed checking for any of the lesser known varieties either. Doing so would be a fine exercise for you; helpful information can be found at both doubleddie.com and coppercoins.com, as well as the CONECA website. Good luck.

I think one of my coins in the picture is similar.

Isn't there a 1955 poor man's double die that has only minor amounts of doubling because the die was so worn down? The last 5 should have a curve below the curve the normal 5 has.

Look at the OP's photo; there's at least one there iirc. Other than this, Google is your friend.

The problem we have on these forums is that it is like "Little House on the Prairie". The schoolhouse has just one room for 1st - 12th grades.

Whoa... I am feeling a little dizzy after staring at these double dies... perhaps nausea is a good indicator that one is looking at the genuine article? ;)

Well, if yours isn't a double die, is this an example of doubling?

It's the "은" in the hangul script of a 1967 10 Won coin in the coin's title, "한국은행" (Han Kook Eun Hang), meaning, "Bank of Korea." Image shot through my lumagny 30X el cheapo magnifier.

I think I see doubling in the oval and line (으).

Would this be doubling? If so, how is it produced?
