I know you can always sell on HA and some of the other sites but who exactly are the bigger names in 18th century coins?

The guy I'm working with has some bigger coins that he wanted to cosign with hertiage but he would rather find someone to deal with directly so he doesn't have to pay the commission and wait to be paid.

This is mostly early half and large cents with a half dime and half dollar in there as well.

Are these raw or slabbed coins? When you say "bigger coins" do you mean high grade, or rare varieties?

all graded by either NGC, PCGS, or an Old White ANACS.

I don't know if they're rare dies, but I know the grades are high enough to push them out of the average collectors budget.

I don't know if you listen to Coin Show Radio, but Matt seems to be a buyer on some really nice coins. I'd probably contact him, he may have other connections as well.

Contact Chris McCawley about the EAC coins.
Search him up with your browser.

Why don't you post on here what is available? You never know.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I agree, the marketplace here may be useful... but if these are high dollar coins, you may not get a whole lot of traction.

Tom Reynolds is well known in the realm of early copper. You could try him. You could also contact Coin Rarities Online, but they are well known for being selective - if you have attractive, high quality coins, you'll be successful with them.

I've already been in touch with Matt, just in case there are any coins he doesn't buy, I'm just trying to find out where else he might offer them.
I have been posting some of his stuff here, and some of it has sold.

He's helped me out a bit so I'm just looking to return the favor to him.

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

Well, which does your friend prefer, getting a lower price from a dealer who has to make a profit on the turnover, or paying a fee to a middleman seller who makes his profit that way? Either way, he's going to pay and I suspect the latter will be the lesser hit.

Try Great Collections.com - info@greatcollections.co they should be a better choice than the snooty "calif.crew"

Guys, this is kind of going over the line here. We have strict rules about BST in the regular forum sections. I usually try to allow questions, and answers, about how to go about selling stuff, or what stuff might be worth. But when members start asking specific questions like is this available or is that available, or a member starts listing exactly what is available - that's breaking the rules.

No real harm done, so don't sweat it.

Just keep it in mind ;)
