I don't really think this article is lying. I would pay $65 for a quarter printed between 1932-1964. ;)

Steel cents are worth $10? My LCS sells them at 6 for $.50, so I'm a rich man

And now you know why people come here with damaged coins and think they have the holy grail of coins, because of misinformation like this on the internet.

You know how long it took me to figure out what "LCS" meant? lol

The internet is making people lazy, one letter at a time. Everyone is abbreviating everything and making everyone ask, "what does that mean?" I'm assuming his LCS means local coin store or shop, BWKICBW. (but who knows, I could be wrong)

Yeah, like me taking the longest time to figure out that 'Indie' movies was a reference to Independent and not movies produced in India........

Don't feel bad - every time my wife said she was going to go get "candy" , I thought she was going down to the strip club and bring her home with her!!

Yes, I couldn't agree more. It is the same thing with texting now a' days.... you see everyone and then some do it, not only does it make you lazy, it takes away big life needed lessons.... correct spelling being a major one, the other is this..... there's no emotion, there's no feeling..... I text and while I'm quite good at it (first text took me about 15 minutes) I absolutely hate it!

I never heard that one before...

I didn't figure it out until you just said it... :)

I also always thought indie music was music incorporating indian (Not Native Americans) styles into the music :p

They don't even know how coins are made :)

"Silver quarters. Yes, get lucky enough to find one of these printed between 1932 and 1964 and you’ve got a coin worth $65."

It seems Franklin halves have gone WAY up in value, at all printed between 1948-1963 being worth $125. Chances are, someone who did not know about grades looked at a price guide and decided to use the price for the highest grade coins.

Edit: Looks like someone already mentioned about the coins being printed :)
