Is this a Die crack or Lamination error ???

    I got this coin and i'm not sure if its damage or an error.....Looks like an error to me but what kind?? and what do you think the value is....BTW

    That is a Lamination Error. A Die crack is found on the Die itself and when it strikes a Blank Planchet the metal flows into the crack taking the form of the crack so it would look raised on the coin. Die Crack.. That is not what you have.

    The reverse also has at least one die break .
    Not sure if that's a break on the shield . 24.jpg
