Pickups from the coin show today Pretty happy. Needed the 38 D/S for a while and I love the UNC florin.
You know my opinion. Nearly always toned. But I do like a frosty white Morgan or dmpl or a cameo proof. . I'd say 85% of my collection got some color to it. And I find coins toned or original grey easy to sell
Surprisingly I didn't own any coins with a Moneta god reverse but now have one. Galerius (305 - 311 A.D.) Æ(S) Follis O: MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES, Laureate head right. R: SACRA MONET AVGG ET CAESS NOSTR, Moneta standing left, holding scales and cornucopia, SIS in exergue, star in left field, B in right field. Siscia 301 A.D. 10.08g 28mm RIC VI 135b Siscia
Got this one today and would like to know what you think. I like the light toning but could do without the small black marks...it is what it is though. Looking for honest opinions..don't be shy.
Nice coin. I'd never try to dip it I like the original color and don't find the spotting bothersome you could always check with NCS if you wanted
Went to a smaller coin show today and came away very happy with some coins for my collection and a new lunch hotspot when in town Traded my '07 NGC ER MS-69 ASE for this '06 FS. Will then be trading it for a '06 ER NGC MS-69 And since the dealer was Uncle John , he threw in this... Then while cherry picking a dealers junk silver/discount bin, I came across these beautifully toned silver FDR Dimes which will be posted after dinner
