Yes, and it will work fine to remove haze or light spotting from copper that is otherwise brilliant. But don't clean a brown or red-brown piece.
That is forums in general. I mean there are others where everyone is super nice, but the downside is that those forums don't have the collective knowledge that this one does. It's been well documented that smart and creative people also tend to be the most eccentric and drop the most F-bombs
I am fearful of using Tarn-X on copper (possibly on silver too). The surface is left stripped and vulnerable to new contaminants. What is needed is a way to passivate the cleaned surface.
Some more "Horse Puckey" for your viewing pleasure.. This came from the same collector of my last two DC pieces that were posted in this thread .. The super rare: 2012 Colorado Springs Coin Club 50th Anniversary Token Brass 39mm This one has a post strike bead blasted Matte finish with gold gilt on the coin icon.. Total mintage of this particular piece was only 7
Ya know? I think the fellow that subscribes to.......Betting money on horses is a sucker's game, could love this......
Sweet! Can't wait. I really like that boarder dan, from the art deco geometric lines to the nut & bolt accents. And nice choice on the owls eyes too. It really captures that icy stare they have. I bet this one is gonna feel real good in the hand too
This looks like it would be tough to make Daniel. I know the CNC can handle the die with no problem. I'll guess the collar has to be hand made? You did a great job on this one.
Thanks, Actually I borrowed the border design from my 1715 Fleet 300th anniversary cobs from earlier this year:
I bought the morgan slabbed and haven't really handled any of my raw dc o/s sans flips. Quality is amazing if that's what you're getting at
