Yea, the bear gotcha...I've had it happen to me, but then again sometimes I've been overwhelmed as a seller with what an auction item sells for, much more than I thought it would, so ya never can tell with a no reserve auction.

Perhaps a bit closer to the holidays may have been a better time to list an item such as this, which makes for a nice holiday gift. Also, perhaps using the word "coin" in the description would have gotten more views, and possibly a much higher selling price. I think "coin collection" naturally gets a lot of hits.

Hope I'm understanding this right that you were the seller and the item sold for $1.61 - if not, then never mind my post.

It looks like the opening bid on the $1.96 worth of coins was $1.61 and it closed with no bids.

You could always tell the buyer that your dog ate the item, and so you can't ship it. If goat sounds better, then use that instead. :wideyed:

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The problem with trying to sell items on an auction site without much traffic is amply illustrated here by the OP.

Am I reading that right? In the 20 months since April 2014, 1,635 items have sold for a total of $19,046.42 or $11.65 average per item and just under 82 items per month?

Sounds more like a good buying opportunity :)

That's correct, and those numbers grow every week.
