I gotta shoot some more pics.........that color on the reverse isn't entirely correct. I couldn't understand where all the blue tint was coming from. Take a look here.

There is the beginning of some toning in the area though. Back before long........

I agree with all assessments regarding the marks on the face, but apparently the graders let that slide a bit. I will say that the marks are hardly noticeable when viewing the coin in hand and maybe that's why this coin got a free pass.

Two more shots before the big reveal.....

@kanga & @physics-fan3.14 .........I've wiped that danged lens and can see no finger print when I hold the coin under a strong lamp, yet when I photograph it, the print appears. It must be on the coin. Something similar happened to me with a T Roosevelt medal only it was a mysterious hair. Everytime I took a pic it's there, yet gone when I view the medal in hand.

Yeah, the gang must been having the company Christmas Party when they graded this one. I doubt it would 'Bean', but who the devil cares? :)

If you like the commem, than that's all that matters! I like it! Seems a tad overgraded, but it must have some eye popping luster.

Catching it on the bump, that might sticker, as CAC don't pay no mind to +s.

Only thing is CAC might not want to put its prestigious label on a coin with a fingerprint. Especially your fingerprint, good buddy. :D

Not mine.......and I've got AFIS on it....gonna catch the culprit. :)

Do you want me to send it to our crime lab? You'll be surprised what they can tell from these. That one looks like a thumbprint, not a fingerprint. I'd estimate from that it's a guy about 5'8", blue eyes, fair skin and a receding blonde hairline. It's off the left thumb.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Well, good for you, I guess. But dang, I'd call that seriously overgraded... just my opinion. Even with these different pics, that one tops out at a low-end 65 in my book.

Yeah. That luster must really be something. When it's really captivating, they'll overlook a lot, figuring their market is going to see it and shell out for it like there's no tomorrow. I'm not knocking the coin, I'm knocking the market grade on the coin.
