I really like that Otho denarius. I still need an Otho example to complete my set.

Thanks. The Otho was the first ancient I ever bought. I really liked it when I saw it. It was this coin that started my quest for the 12.

 

Well now that's just ass-backwards. Usually people are trying to FINISH their set by getting a good Otho.

 

As soon as I knew I would try for them all I decided to attempt to get the more difficult coins before getting the easier ones. I think the Claudius was my 4th coin and the Gaius was the 7th. I had to wait several months for a Gaius to pop up on the market. The last 2 I acquired were the Titus and Domitian.

So, yes, maybe it was a little unusual to do it this way, but it worked for me.
