found a low serial number...need help please

    Hello everyone, I am new on this site and I recently found a 1988 series A low serial number 00000222 and I am trying to see if anyone could help me determine a ballpark price? Much appreciated. thank you

    Personally, I think your ask is high given condition.

    it is a old circulated bill but a pretty low number...

    I would think $25-30 range. 1988 is kinda new ish. I have some 1963 $20 star notes which are only worth 30-40 bucks each, depending on condition. At least have a "Make Offer" option available so you can see what other people want it for.

    That's a nice one to add to your collection when you find it for face value, but won't fetch much on the market due to its condition. It also appears to have high print number, if I'm reading this chart correctly: http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f1988av.html

    As a side note... you might want to use a photo showing the entire bill for your listing. When you cut of an edge it leaves some doubt to its condition or possibly the thought that something might be concealed. Good luck.
