1982 Lincoln pennies

    How many Lincoln pennies made in 1982 were predominately copper versus those zinc with copper plating? Are there known numbers from each of Philadelphia and Denver Mints? I couldn't find out on my google searches.

    About 17 billion coins struck for 1982, and I think the zinc based were from Sept/Oct onwards. Only mintage figures I could see combined the two for the year.

    Someone did an article I did on the 1982's in the Numismatic News back 2021.
    They gave me the credit for the information I did many years before. Plus, here is a link from David Lange from NGC on the 1982's. (RIP David) Plus I have the percentage of 82's that came across my desk here in Upstate NYS. Snowman

    Also - here is the total for the 4 mints that produced the 82's if your an expert. If not just add the 3 mints P, W and S to the total for Philadelphia mint. 1HPIM0601.JPG
