A WINS member sent this coin to me for an opinion of what happened to it. She was not sure if it was something that happened at the mint or after. My feeling is that it was put on some type of rotary tool after minting and is therefore damaged, not a mint error; but I would like as many opinions as possible as I don't deal with error coins on a regular basis. Looks like someone took another penny and put it on that penny and started pounding away. I only say that because of the other letters/words on it like the "god" on the reverse rim. Who knows why hehheh.
Thanks, guys. I would have been surprised if anyone had seen something here that I didn't indicating that it was something from the mint but it is always a good idea to get input to be sure.
