I don't see any doubling.....

So my pictures aren't that good but I can see the slight spread on the date through a loupe

 

Your pictures are fine. There is just no DDO there.

On the 2nd to last picture I can see what you are talking about in the date. Simple machine doubling. I can see the shelf like appearance in the date,not a true DDO.

 

You really have to look close. I first saw what you are talking about on the 7, then the 9. It's MD.

 

After a lot of reading I know understand thank you guys for the insight

Here are two examples of doubling on the 76D Kennedy obverse, MD (Master Die) MDO-001, MD-1-O-II-C (P, D, S, PR) and 76D DDO-001, 1-O-II-C (4). I see no doubling on your half dollar.
