What makes you think 00000610 is a Fibonacci number?

Yes, I suppose, but not one person in a thousand would recognize that fact, and even fewer would comprehend the appeal. But since the currency-number police did not get funded in the last Congress, you're good to go. And to eliminate printing them out all the time, there's probably an app for that.

    Fibonacci numbers ?

I've seen it all now. What's next, square root serial numbers ?
This is my all time most uninteresting thread pertaining remotely to paper currency. And, I'll add, that finding a birthday note, Googling the date, and declaring it's a great find because it matches someones famous birthday is boring.
If you want a challenge, pick the celebrity first, then find their birth date, then try finding the note.

Sorry, Steve, I can beat you on boring. I collect random numbers, and store them in my wallet, where they don't last long enough to get damaged.

Why not save serial numbers with any numbers that can be added together? Or serial numbers that are the same on the face's left and right side?

Wow man.. that's a bit harsh and sad. I personally think that his posts are interesting. Compared to all the other junk that are posted on CT this members posts are different and unique. When I'm at work or home bored and see threads like these it keeps my mind occupied. I actually learn and get to see neat pictures of different celebrities. I thank you Cmcart for your cool bills!

Actually, very nice. Fibonacci closely matches up with the logarithmic spiral. The logarithmic spiral is found in the Universe with the Spiral Galaxies, and on Earth with the Nautilus (shell), cauliflower, pine cones, reproducing bunnies, petals on flowers, and more.

If you are interested in this, check out Sacred Geometry, which includes the Golden Ratio.

I think this is an exercise in math more than anything else.
