This year I started to collect world coins. I had some stored away from my dads old collection that he left me before he passed away and others I find at local flea markets. Today I started to put them in 2x2 holders and decided to start with the older and silver world coins. Including my first Nazi German Coin from 1942 located in 2nd picture upper right corner. These are what I have found so far -
That looks like a fun collection. I bought many old silver Thalers from Germany from the 18th century. I also like those Pillar $ from 1732-1821 Mexico. Maybe you can work on purchasing coins like that. They are quite affordable, even in VF-XF grades.
nice collection. I collect that coin in the 2nd pic bottom row all the way left... it comes from "Baden". how about showing us the reverses of these coins ? thanks.
Very nice starter set. The two German states coins at top left of the first pic appear to be very nice looking pieces.
The 1/12 thaler coin seems to be from Hannover; the next one (6 kreuzer) could be from Frankfurt. In those years there was no "Germany" as a political entity. Christian
