Any chance you guys could re-route that Joaquin to the west coast ? We are dry as a bone out here in Southern California. Sorry Paddy, I don't know one VAM from another.

Dave? We'll gladly do that. I've employed a bunch of guys from the 'ancient' section and they are willing to help build a Roman aqueduct straight toward you folks.........:)

When in Rome ---- The Los Angeles aqueducts, are a feat of engineering as amazing as those in ancient Rome. Relying entirely on gravity, the two L.A. aqueducts today carry about 430 million gallons (1,627.7 megaliters) of water over hundreds of miles into Los Angeles every day. Even with this we have out grown the output of purchased water from Northern California.

That same front came through here but we only got a trace of rain out of it. Guess it was saving it for you guys.

Still pouring at 7 am! And I mean pouring.... has been all night. If the hurricane had taken the original path up the Chesapeake as they projected we be in big trouble .
In 1972 hurricane Agnes took that path and the destruction was unreal. I knew two people who drowned from flash flooding .

Ken is working on it . He's trying to convert cubits into feet. He's also planning where to put the bar fore or aft. Plus trying to decide if he's wants Frank on board. :)

Yeah don't forget to pick up some Ludes from the Pharmacy in case you need to drug some unexpected female while on board. Or you can just swing by Bill's I'm sure he has an ample supply.
