I just inherited 20 sets of partial lincoln sets. What do I do? Do i complete these sets? I have 1000's of loose cents laying around. Sounds kinda silly to have that many sets in my collection. Do I stop collecting cents and move on to the next (nickel, dime quarter). To date, my number would stand at 6 complete sets of 1909-2007 (minus 1909svdb) and 22 partial sets (minus a few keys). In the 28 sets, 3 are BU from 1932-2007 (with all proofs).

Yep, Looks like you need to come on over to nickels!!! (Ok, so I'm a little biased... so sue me, I like nickels!!)

I vote complete all the sets of Lincolns, but I am also a little biased.

I agree that you could do both. Mainly move on to nickels, but complete Lincoln sets on the side. If you have a bunch of complete sets, maybe sell some of them. Completed sets seem to sell well.

I would sort out, and pick the very best of each variety, to make one really nice set. Then I would sell all the reamaining complete sets, and use that money to start with some new types of coins.

I wish I could sort out just 1. I've been accumulating lincoln wheats for well over 15 years. I have my best sets in the bank. Those being my MS 1932-2006 sets. The others are either partial sets, loose (about 15,000) or 2x2's.
