I saw an incredible MS67 50C coin in a PCGS slab marked GBW. Anyone know more about who GBW is/was and the collection? Apparently, it ranks right up there with Jack Lee and others.

That is a great set of Walkers, and to think it is only second best all time. I have a handful of MS67's but none before 1941. Without the registry system I would never see early Walkers in that condition. Thanks for the link Idhair.

Id, thanks...I should have posted the link. The seller was asking $4,000 for the coin, can you imagine what the entire set was worth?? The first time I have seen the "GBW" on any slab.

    Randy_K Love them coins...

It appears that "GBW" wanted to remain anonymous. With that collection, probably a good idea!
