Hey guys. Haven't posted in a while. Been pretty busy. Anyway, I always check the cash I get out of my local atm for star notes. I usually take out 100 to 200 at a time when I go so there's several to scan through. Once in a while I get a beat up 20 star. Very rarely, and if it's beat up, I just spend it. Today's withdrawal had a very interesting thing happen.

Was going through the 20s, nothing, nothing, nothing, then one hit. A star note! And it was actually crisp in good shape. So I was like cool. Look at the next one, another star! Consecutively numbered and still crisp. They may have been folded once. But theyre about as fresh as you'll find in circulation. The pair were still together in the middle of a batch of random 20s. I'll save them because that's gotta be fairly rare. First for me anyway.
    Serial #s were: MG 03951306
    MG 03951307
    Series 2013

Good for you; I'd probably keep them for a while to see how things shake out. You are fortunate in that my bank has stopped ordering new notes of any denomination except $100. They especially don't like new $20 as the ATM would sometimes dispense MORE than requested amount ( like $120 or $140 for only $100 request).
Check your amount maybe you got more than you requested. :)

Whether brandy new notes or notes ready for the shredder, I've never received the wrong amount from an ATM.
