I'll be picking this one up on Monday morning. I'm hoping that it is in mint state condition. I've had a lot of luck in the past with this seller (everything I have bought from him graded higher than his description), so I'm optimistic about it (I purchased it as mint state). What do you all think?

Something doesn't look quite right with it. Could it be a fake?

WOW, I don't see any wear. Maybe an MS-63/64. Have you got better (close-up) pictures?

I agree! Miss Liberty's hairlines, the lines on her dress and cap and the feathers on the Eagle just look too smooth. They aren't crisp as one would expect with such detail! Also, the almost complete lacking of a rim on the Reverse with such detail, just doesn't look right either. Hard to tell from the pictures whether it is a fake or has been tooled!

I hope that we are wrong and it is just the pictures! Also, I hope for Zane's sake, the Seller has a Return Policy!

It looks ok to me, but the luster is completely indeterminable. I'd guess it is a scan and that is why the luster isn't evident. However, if it has been overdipped then it could look like that too. If you've had good luck with the guy then I'm gonna guess you'll be ok on this one to, as I think it is likely MS.

I like it, it looks very nice, although luster could be a bit defective, but it could just be the pics

I agree!....there looks to be some small fingerprints on the coin but it is still a pleasing coin that anyone would like to own!

Let us know what you think after you get it in hand!!

I like the look of it and think that it is an Unc. piece. I am curious what kind of surfaces the piece has, but the piece could be a 63.
