Can anybody tell me where this coin or medal is from??

Here's another mystery coin from my hoard. I'm guessing it might be from India or somewhere in that area. Aside from that I have no idea. Thanks, Mike.

For starters, the primary Hindu gods with 6 arms are Shiva, Ganesh, and Vishnu,
most likely Shiva. I'm guessing this is an amulet or religious token, not a coin. I'll guess further and say the reeded edge suggests it's post-1880.

 

Thanks for your info. The edge isn't reeded. What you're seeing is like denticles that are around the outside that make up a rim or something like that. I've attached a photo of the edge so can see what I mean.
