I have here and old coin that looks to be German to me but that's as far as I have been able to go in trying to figure out what it is. It's 19mm in diameter and made of zinc or something like that. I lightened the photos some so you can see it better. Thanks. MVC-074S.JPG

Notgeld. Google the word Kleingeldersatzmarke and you will find lots of info...

Interesting piece of Notgeld w/o a date. City of Landeshut, formerly in Prussia, now a part of Silesia, Poland (after Russian occupation in 1945). "Marke" can roughly be translated as "token" I would say, but it's still some sort of Notgeld.

I did Google the word "Kleingeldersatzmarke" and found many coins that have this word on them but never found this exact piece. I did find one with the same reverse design with the denomination but a different obverse. I'll keep searching for this one.
Thanks for the info that you did have.

Looks like it should be Unger (1970), "Emergency Coins of Germany, 1914-1923", p. 99, no. 2-4. Stadt/arms type in zinc. Valued at $2 (higher than most) 45 years ago, thus must be relatively scarce.
