I realize it sounded harsh, but for the coins I'm beginning to collect and going after right now, especially 64 and 65 type Indian cents, seeing a bright shiny 64 or 65 Indian cent with a CAC sticker really turns me off. Sure it's technically a nice looking coin, but also obviously recently dipped, and sorry but it's just not my cup of tea. Especially because say 5 or 10 years from now, who knows how that coin is going to chemically tone, I doubt it will be very pretty. But of course to each his own, and anyone with a collection of bright shiny, high grade Indian cents, if they're happy with their collection, then that's great...as long as we enjoy collecting coins and having fun with it, that's the main thing.
Now now, Kentucky, if you're going to expect coin people to act rationally, you're going to implode the whole hobby. We are mutants, every one of us. The whole hobby is supported by irrational behavior.
