Yeah I know . I can take better pics, this was just a quick snap, i'll have to get that done later tonight.... You gotta figure though, all I use for pics is a webcam....Which actually takes better pictures than the average 100 - 200.00 digital cam you buy at the store
Ohhh I like that one, you know, even though seated coinage is my favorite type of design, I don't have a single one yet with the "in god we trust" on it, I really need to pick up the pace and find me some nice examples like that one there.
It is a nice coin, apparently. Congratulations go to you for finding it. (The other one is nice, too. ) If you want to work on your US Type set, then the Motto variety is also a "must" at some point down the road. In the mean time you have an acquisition worth admiring. Here is my Seated Half. When I bought this from a dealer's junk silver box, I also picked out several Philippine coins holed the same way. I think they all came from the same necklace or belt.
I feel bad for paying that price though to the guy on e-bay.... But, his problem was his pictures, the coin didn't actually look that good in the pictures, they were one of those space shuttle pictures taken from outer space, it was a nice supprise though when I received it in the mail today. Although, even from the pictures I could tell it was at least a VF.
Pennycase That is a NICE coin--I LOVE half dollars but have not gotten a single seated half (go figure)--Its Barbers to Kennedys for me I just got in the mail a NGC 1962-PF-67 half and the same guy is shipping me out a NGC 1963-PF-66 CAMEO (I've won both on e-bay for less then half price) !!!!! I'm doing a set of proof franklin halves and trying for PF-66....so far all of them are slabbed because I haven't gotten into grading proofs. Oh well back to the topic--I saw a seated half in the coin shop this week and now a good friend of mine owns it Speedy

Yeah... I suggest that any and all that are familiar with e-bay, and can spend money during these holiday months, that they stock up on the coins
