    Looks like a D, but also a sideways S?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

    Isn't it obvious? It's a D. The mark beside it? I can't opine.

In other words, it's a 1952-D with PMD.

Is that area raised, or is that an optical illusion? Regardless, it is just a ding/dent in the coin, or if that area is raised, it's from extra metal, like from a chip in the die when the coin was made.

Why would Rick Stachowski give you a like, but not me? Especially since you were wrong, and I was right? Ha, ha! I should report him for that! Ha, ha, ha!!!

Oh yes, I do see the scratches next to the extra metal flow. So this coin has both PMD and MD.

I didn't look close enough to check for MD. All I saw was the PMD and that did it for me. Even if it does have MD it's worth a cent or two. :)
