It’s a 1963-D silver dime. In hand, it looks like an RPM but I’m not a variety collector. These are the best photos I can get with my cell. I see no sign of damage, even with a 10x loop. So what can y’all tell me? @paddyman98 @Paddy54
I thought that at first but there is definitely something sticking out on the left side. Not sure why it posted the photos do small. I’ll try and get new ones to see if that helps.
Thanks for the 1946 chart @Paddy54. Mine does have a similar look to one of those. I’ll have to look closer.
I see what Ed sees as a possible hit, but I also see the other part you see that does not show as well. I think it requires further investigation.
I'm in the "took a hit" group. Even enlarging the photo, it appears to be a hit, although the middle photo in the second group does seem to have a loop sticking out of the left side of the D, but I certainly can't equate that to any RPM.
If you look at the link that paddy54 sent there are similar examples of the loop and what looks like a hit. In hand it looks different. I’m not a variety collector so I have no idea. Paddy’s link is for a 1946 and mine is a 1963 so there are differences but there are also similarities.
