This might be a silly question but has anyone seen, or have, and ancient coin that was tooled in ancient times? Aside from graffiti and defaceing.

Can I add something on top of that?
How can you tell the difference from modern tooling and ancient tooling?

I may have several unknown examples, but Doug told me outright that this sweet coin has been tooled and smoothed (comments that were actually mentioned by the seller, before I really knew what smoothed and tooled meant!!) ... *sigh*

*whatev* => apparently, "most of" the coins from this era have been treated the same way (a shame, but true)
