So I got off work today and emptied my pockets of change. Upon observation I noticed I had a dime with a weird rim. It's angled sort of or smoothed down. Any ideas?

This is just a guess, but it looks like someone may have use a grinder to bevel the edge.

It would be nice to see a view of the entire rim...but from what I see, it looks like an off center strike (guess).

Crappy photo still. It's gloomy outside so I can't use the sun. And the lighting in my house sucks. When stood on its edge next to another dime, it is thinner. When stacked on another dime, it is slightly bigger in diameter.

Doesn't look off center. The question is if it's an error coin or PMD. Generally, if it's not an obvious error type, you'll get the PMD reply. I just don't know one way or the other so I'll lean towards PMD.

Initially, I thought it might be a dryer coin, but dryer coins don't wear on just one edge. Could be a grind job. Can't rule out a flawed planchet, either.

It's not an error and it's not post-strike damage. The planchet was strongly upset and there was a well-developed bevel connecting the apex of the planchet's proto-rim to the planchet's edge. The strike just wasn't strong enough to eliminate the bevel.
