If that was only an H-H or I-I note, that would be a true true flipper. Note with number like: B 00069000 A with the B - A we can say That it's a true flipper and not a true true flipper !

Today the the new notes are coming with two letters like LI or LB and we can not see new notes with true true flippers - only true flippers .

Oh believe me, I understand that you like flipper notes. I've seen this post here, and over at Collectors Universe, and at the PMG message boards........I was just expressing my opinion of flipper notes.

 

Exactly. People are so desparately trying to make notes valuable, they are inventing new terms or new categories. Usually they are trying to add value to their collection. It has a better shot of working with the new collectors rather than the old. Someone on here categorized a note that had nothing repeating, reversed or following any kind of sequence as a "broken ladder". I also saw a description as "super repeater". A note is either a repeater or not. However, the note can be in super condition but that is what the numeric grade is about.

 

I think is an obsession caused by trying to bring order into what is an essentially disordered universe, and to exercise some form of illusory control of a random process.

These people should get out more.

 

I'm a small collector and not a dealer lol - Everything by the book and clear and everything is written by distinguished collectors

I have only two true flippers ( new 100$ )and a third might be too soon – I want to collect all the values but I see that is very difficult to get .


The normal seven of kind is known by the book as fancy serial numbers but isn't Refreshing !

In the new bills we have 2 letters ( L with 12 districts - I or H not relevant anymore )

 

When it comes to the flipper notes the number 8 is often excluded since most of the time the loops are unequal, however:
