what is the oldest note you got from the bank or teller?

    1963 dollar bill. I was very surprised, it was as crisp as any other 2009 bill.

    got a few 1931 100s before, nothing special... I often get 1800's IHC i find in rolls however :). Oldest is a 1863 flying eagle, minted wile Lincoln was in office.

    Gee an 1863 flying eagle would be pretty rare, considering they were only made in 1856/57/58. :p

    your right, its an IHC. I recently bought a 1858 and confused myself. I dont buy coins often, but i got a 1938 whitman cardboard with 32 coins in it for $40 at a garage sale.

    wow, that is the roundest "note" I have ever seen:happy:
    I am new here and double checked this as it was in paper money talk.
    do not collect paper money, just spend it.:greedy:

    Oldest US coin is an 1859 Indian Head, oldest foreign silver coin is an 1869 Austria-Hungary dimes sized 40% silver coin, followed by 1918 Canada Dime. Oldest US Silver is a 1917 Walking Liberty.
