Any sweet archaic incuse coins? ... I'm just sayin'

    Gosh, once again I am impressed by the depth of your collections! Some real beauties here:jawdrop:, thanks for reviving the thread.

    I have several archaic incuse coins, but lost all my coin photos when my PC crashed last year (unluckily, my backup was lost as well). While I have begun the arduous task of rescanning my coins, I'm only 35% of the way through, and started with my favorite, the Res Publica.

    So, while I may not contribute to some of the treads, I just wanted you all to know that I am really enjoying viewing them!

The earliest period, the Archaic, covers the time from the introduction of coinage in Asia Minor sometime in the seventh century BC to the end of the Greco-Persian Wars in 479 BC.
