Very interesting to say the least. To say the MOST "STAY AWAY FROM ALL THOSE CROOKS."

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not impressed by these two sites. The data is extremely old (nothing newer than 2005 that I saw) and very limited. Most of the posts appear to be written very poorly and are just attacks against a limited number of individuals. The site claims to be the "entire world's central resource" for numismatic and currency scams, but I find it surprising that there is very little information about ebay and the scammers there.

If you try to go to the various links, I find that many of them (even though the link information on the page indicates "www.banknotes.com") take you to a redirected google ad page.

Just seems a little fishy to me.

FHDave, the website at www.banknotes.com is that of a banknote dealer, which looks perfectly legitimate to me.A lot of people don't know about these websites,& other anti-fraud websites. Here's another one dedicated to fighting numismatic fraud, especially that committed on eBay; www.coinaf.org .

Jako Lipo,Stevesgiftshopp & Aboncom are connected with the Scumburger 'Grading' 'Service',but they've been proven to be scammers as well. They're as bad as Pamela 'pjd1966' Donnelly the Savannah Scammer who was recently under the handle of 'estatedoctor',& ended up getting her & her husband NARU'd off eBay & www.overstock.com .

What I find a little fishy is that when I go to the www.network54.com website, some of the links come up on the first page as pointing to "www.banknotes.com", but when I clicked on them, I was redirected to a google ad page. Other links with the same "www.banknotes.com" text do take me the indicated page. Either the person who created these pages is intentionally doing this to generate ad $$, or else they have no clue what they are doing with html (which is entirely possible). Although to do that kind of redirect, typically takes advanced html knowledge.

The other thing, for me, is that the site does not appear to be one that generates enough outside interest to be providing current and thorough information. Most of the posts are from 2001-2003 with very little from 2004 & 2005 and nothing later than November of 2005.

I think people will get much more timely and accurate information by just staying here on CT and other more active coin forums.
